The Emergency Management division is responsible for preparing town officials and our townspeople for disasters, whether they are natural or man made. In order to accomplish this mission, the Emergency Management division has four major focuses: Preparedness, Response, Recovery, and Mitigation. The Town of Cape Elizabeth's unique landscape, weather, and events present numerous challenges which have to be planned for in advance.

This division is led by the town's EMA Director, which is an appointed position under the Fire Chief and is assisted by an Assistant EMA Director.
