NOTICE: Test of CodeRED Alerting System – Monday August 7th

The Cumberland County Regional Communications Center, in partnership Cumberland County Emergency Management, will be conducting a test message of the CodeRED Alerting System on Monday, August 7th. This test will NOT be an emergency and is to ensure that subscribers are effectively receiving messages from Public Safety Personnel.

The CodeRED Alerting System is a FREE service that provides high speed mass notification via your telephone. Through the use of GPS, the system is able to send out messages only to those currently in the affected area(s). These messages could be for severe weather, road closures, criminal activity, fires, evacuations, missing persons, or any other Public Safety related message.

To participate in this free service, please visit the CodeRED Sign-up Page.

Should you require further information, please contact Cape Elizabeth Public Safety at (207) 767-3323.
